Mission Statement
Farnam Nursery School fosters a love of learning that encourages children to see the world as a place of wonder and possibility. Our program provides a rich and robust preschool environment that is safe and nurturing. Planned, daily activities align with the proven Teaching Strategies Creative Curriculum. FNS is staffed by highly trained teachers who, on a daily basis, show their respect, care, and commitment to each and every member of our community.

Farnam supports our families while experiencing temporary food, literacy, employment, housing, or medical insecurities through access to community partnerships with other area nonprofit agencies; United Way, Concepts for Adaptive Learning, The Diaper Bank of Connecticut, Literacy Volunteers of Greater New Haven, Knights of Columbus, CT Food Share, and more.
