Mission Statement
St. Aedan Pre School is a co-ed community school for Pre School students located in the New Haven enclave of Westville, Connecticut. St. Aedan Pre School has been providing high quality school readiness since 1998 and is a NAEYC Accredited Program.
The Pre School Program is partially subsidized by a school readiness grant from the State of Connecticut Dept. of Education. It strives to provide a nurturing and structured school readiness program encompassing developmentally appropriate goals. Each child is provided creative opportunities to grow emotionally, socially, physically and intellectually in a rich learning environment. Based on the State of Connecticut Preschool Standards, our curriculum is student driven, which allows us to reflect upon the uniqueness of each child. We welcome families and staff of cultural and linguistic diversity to our school community.
An atmosphere of caring and respect for each person is intrinsic to our mission. We are committed to providing the highest quality early childhood education and we aspire to make a difference in the lives of the children and families of our school community.
